GEORGE SOROS USED USAID FUNDS TO TARGET INDIA, SAYS TRUMP

Recent allegations have surfaced claiming that Hungarian-American billionaire George Soros utilized funds from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to influence political dynamics in countries including India.

U.S. President Donald Trump asserted that, Soros' organizations received approximately $260 million from USAID, which was allegedly used to "spread chaos" and alter governments in nations such as India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, and others.

Over the past 15 years, reports indicate that USAID has allocated more than $270 million to organizations affiliated with Soros. One notable recipient is the East-West Management Institute, which partnered with Soros' Open Society Foundations and received USAID funding. These revelations have intensified concerns regarding the U.S. government's involvement in international political movements.

In India, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has long accused Soros of backing opposition groups and funding critics of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. BJP leaders claim that Soros' initiatives aim to destabilize the Indian government and interfere in national politics.

The controversy has also reached the Indian Parliament, where BJP MP Nishikant Dubey demanded a comprehensive probe into USAID's funding activities. He alleged that USAID collaborated with Soros and the Congress party to promote a "western agenda" in India. Dubey questioned whether USAID provided funds to Soros' Open Society Foundation to destabilize India and whether these funds were directed to organizations linked to the Congress party.

These developments have sparked a broader debate about the role of foreign aid in domestic politics and the potential influence of international organizations on a nation's sovereignty. As the discourse continues, calls for transparency and accountability in the allocation and utilization of foreign funds are likely to intensify.
